What is granulation?
Granulation refers to the process of forming particles from powder or solid matter to produce granular material. These flowable particles that can be directly compressed are very suitable for the production of nutritional supplements, hard capsule filling, etc.
Currently, two granulation techniques are used: wet granulation and dry granulation.
Why choose granulation?
The biggest advantage of direct pressure granules is the significant cost savings in production, which saves the granulation process during the production process, making rapid and economical mass production of tablets and hard capsules possible.
- Controllable pile density
- Consistency of particle size distribution
- Good fluidity, reducing clumping
- Reduce the formation of dust and lower the health risks in the workshop
- Improve compression performance
- Excellent stability of tablets
- Improve disintegration performance
- Reduce brittleness
- Improve tablet hardness
